Smartizen - Supporting Child Development Milestones at Every Stage

At Smartizen, we are deeply inspired by the groundbreaking work of Dr. Montessori and Dr. Doman, who both recognized the incredible potential of early childhood education. Their work highlight the importance of brain development to build strong foundation for their growth.

"Between 0-6 years old, the child’s mind is like a sponge"

Maria Montessori

“1 to 5 years old - the child’s brain is an open door to all information”

Glenn Doman

These years are full of childhood development milestones—emotional, social, cognitive, and physical changes that shape your child’s lifelong learning abilities. Decades of brain research show that the more we use our brain, the more it grows, much like our muscles. Brain growth can be stopped, slowed but most importantly, speeded up. Fascinatingly, 90% of a human being's brain development happens before the age of 6. As a result, these early years become more crucial for setting the foundation for lifelong learning. Do not miss this "golden window" to teach kids literally anything.

Why Early Childhood Development Milestones Matter

Every child has an intense curiosity “to learn all there is to know in their nature. They are learning every minute of every day. We’re teaching them - whether we know it or not. Most often, we are unintentionally teaching them things without a structure or not academic enough. Unfortunately, this often means they may unexpectedly learn things that aren't beneficial.

We are here to close that gap. Smartizen knows to take advantage of the first 6 golden years of children’s life to teach them strategically, with meaningful knowledge and the right method. In fact, Smartizen is the very first training office in Canada that incorporates well-researched whole brain education and baby's brain development into practice. Moreover, our facilitators are experienced in working with kids with special needs. If parents need something more customized to help your children more confident in Math and Literacy, we are here to help.

Thanks to our method, during these early learning stages, little learners easily hit and surpass essential developmental milestones, like:

  • Developing great memory and attention span

  • Recognizing sounds, shapes, and letters

  • Forming emotional responses and social cues

  • Gaining advanced language and communication skills

  • Exercising fine and gross motor skills

  • Gaining great knowledge on Science, Culture, Reading and Math

Understanding and supporting these baby's milestones by age allows us to guide children effectively, helping them grow with confidence and joy. We believe that early brain development is not just about acquiring knowledge—it's about building the foundations of a healthy, curious, and emotionally balanced individual.

Ultimately, we aim to help parents optimize children’s brain development at their most receptive period, when they are hungry for new inputs and take great joy in learning new things every day.
